How it works

  1. We talk

I look at your logo, photos and any brand materials you have, and we talk about what you want the site to do for you.

  2. Free concepts

I make three to six different concepts. Pick one, or mix parts of two. The concepts are free, and you only pay if you go ahead.

  3. Three rounds of changes

Once you pick a concept, you get three rounds of revisions to get it right. Extra rounds after that are $19 an hour.

  4. Launch

Your site goes live on its own domain, like yourshop.com. I set up the domain and hosting, and both are included in the care plan. Already have a domain? You keep it and I connect it.

Pricing

You get a fixed price after a quick chat, so you know the cost before anything starts.

  • Website

One-time. Most sites land between $200 and $500.

    • A one-page site with your hours, menu or services, photos and map
    • Basic text for the page, written by me
    • A contact form that sends to your email
    • Google Business Profile set up or updated
    • Three rounds of changes
    • Live in about 4–7 days

    from $179

  • Care plan

Recommended. It keeps your site online, on your own domain and up to date. Month to month through Stripe, cancel anytime.

    • Your domain name (like yourshop.com), paid by me. Already have one? You keep it and I connect it, same price
    • Hosting on Cloudflare Pages (free plan, no traffic limit)
    • Maintenance, so the site keeps working
    • Up to 2 hours of my time each month for updates: hours, prices, photos or anything else

    $25/mo

  • Photos

Not included in the website price. I photograph your shop, products or work and edit the photos for your site. Most small shoots take one to two hours.

    $35/hr

Good to know

  • Basic text for your page is included. Longer original writing, like a full About story or product descriptions, is $19 an hour.
  • Photos you send need to be yours to use. Photos I take stay mine, and you can use them free, for good, on your site, social media and marketing. I may show them in my portfolio.
  • Revisions past the third round, and changes outside the care plan, are $19 an hour.

Hi, I'm Grant

I'm a real person, a student web designer on the North Shore of Long Island. You work with me directly, not an agency. I do the design, the build and the updates myself, and I write the basic text for your page.

My mom, Tobi, has been a professional web designer for 26 years. She reviews my work and backs me up if I'm ever unavailable.

If your business is near Sea Cliff, I'm happy to come by and go over your site in person. Anywhere else, we can do it by email.

I'm also a photographer, so if you need good photos of your shop, your food or your work, I can take those too.

Common questions

Still have a question?

Ask me directly
Do I own the website?

Yes. The content and files are yours, and so is the domain. If you ever cancel the care plan, I transfer the domain to you and you take everything with you.

Why not just use Squarespace or Wix?

You can, and they work well if you have the time. They cost about $17 to $25 a month, and you build and update the site yourself. With me you get a site made for your business, I make the changes when you email me, and hosting and your domain are included in the $25 a month care plan.

Do you use AI to make my website?

Yes, I work with AI tools. They let me try more ideas faster, so you see more concepts sooner. Every site is still designed, checked and customized by me for your business.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. Every site works on phones, tablets and computers, and the hours, menu and call button are easy to reach on a small screen.

What do I need to give you?

Your hours, address and phone, what you sell or offer, and any photos or logo you already have. I'll send you a short checklist. Clear phone photos of your shop and products are fine to start.

Will customers find me on Google?

Your site is set up so Google can read your name, address, phone and hours. Showing up on Google Maps also depends on your free Google Business Profile. I can set that up or update it for you and link it to your new site.

How long does it take?

About 4 to 7 days once you've picked a concept and sent me your details and photos.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. You sign a short, plain-English agreement for the website itself. The care plan is month to month through Stripe, and you can cancel anytime. If you cancel, you keep your website files and I transfer the domain to you.

Can I skip the care plan?

I recommend it, because your domain, hosting, upkeep and monthly updates are all covered in one price. If you'd rather look after the site yourself, I set it up on a free Cloudflare account in your name, help you register the domain in your name (about $10 to $20 a year, paid to the registrar) and give you the files. If you want changes later, they're $19 an hour.

I already have a domain. Can I keep it?

Yes. It stays in your account and I connect the new site to it. The care plan price is the same.

What happens if you stop doing this?

I'll give you at least 30 days' notice and hand over everything: your site files, your domain and simple instructions. Cloudflare hosting is free, so your site keeps running without me. My mom, Tobi, has been a professional web designer for 26 years. She reviews my work and backs me up if I'm ever unavailable.

Can you take photos for my site?

Yes. I'm also a photographer and can shoot your shop, products or work for $35 an hour, including editing. Your own phone photos are fine too.

I already use Booksy, Square, Toast or DoorDash. Can the site link to it?

Yes. I add a clear button that takes customers straight to your booking or ordering page, so you keep using what already works.

Where is the site hosted?

On Cloudflare Pages, a large hosting service used by millions of sites, so it stays fast and online. Hosting is part of the care plan. Without the plan, it runs on a free Cloudflare account in your name.
